Windsurfing: Shoreham Wind Direction: S-SW Wind Stength: F5-6 Surf / Sea State: Small waves Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Rainy at times Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Went for the 'late' shift at Shoreham, sailing from 5ish by which time the
numbers had dwindled I guess. maybe 10-20 out there. Stuck up the 5m and
it was a good choice for next 2.5 hours. Shoreham produced the goods for
once, not much seaweed and a half decent swell. Rigged in the rain and
sailed in the rain for first hour! wind was SW, then veered more south, and
eased a bit. Ok little rides all along. Then rain cleared and wind swung
right back round to WSW I would guess and filled back in to F6 ish. dead
side shore. Cranked the downhaul etc and pressed on. A couple of downwind
turns on the shorebreak every run in. The occasional chunky set came
through, some gooood jumps, some laaaate gybes. Was still blowing and a few
still sailing as I left, the tide was just off the rocks, but my hands were
shot and my feet wearing out fast!!
